After your static IP expires, we typically keep it for you for a grace period (retention period) of 48 - 72 hours. During the renewal period, the IP will remain unchanged.
After the retention period expires, the IP will be released back to the resource pool and may be assigned to other users. At this time, it cannot be retrieved. Please be sure to turn on automatic renewal or pay attention to the expiration reminder email.
